Serves: 4

Ingredients:
¾ cup mustard sauce
1 cup currant jelly
1 pound Lil Smokies cocktail wieners

Preparation:
Mix mustard and jelly together in medium saucepan over low heat.

Add the Lil Smokies to sauce, heat thoroughly and serve hot. Pour any extra sauce into a small bowl for dipping.

Notes:
Instead of Lil Smokies, you can use regular hot dogs cut into bite size pieces.

This works well in a crock pot.

I made these with Lil Smokies over the weekend for watching football. I used grape jelly because I didn’t have currant jelly on hand, and I poured the extra sauce from the pan into a little side dish for dipping.
My 8 year old grandson thought they were spectacular. He gobbled them up and really enjoyed picking up each Smokie with a toothpick and dipping them in the tangy sauce.
