3 ounces fat free cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground beef patties
1 tablespoon butter
salt and pepper, to taste
4 each pita bread pockets, warmed
1 each tomato, sliced
1 each cucumber, sliced
6 each scallions, chopped
1 package alfalfa sprouts
1 package mushroom, sliced
Mix cream cheese with 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
Shape ground beef into 4 thin patties (to fit into pita pockets) and cook in butter with 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce in a large skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread cream cheese mixture on burgers and slide into pita bread pockets. Stuff the rest of veggies into the pita bread pockets to taste.
