When my mom lived in Fairfax Station, she was very active with the Clifton Community Women’s Club. One of the Club’s major fundraising activities has been their annual Homes Tour. The tour includes the opportunity for viewing the interiors and grounds of many elegant homes in the Clifton and Fairfax Station area, and until recently it included lunch at the Clifton Firehall. The Club members would contribute food that they prepared or baked at home. This recipe is one the my mom would bring and was always well received by the tour participants.
