No-Bake Cherry Cheese Pie

Ingredients:
1 each graham cracker pie crust, 9 inch
8 ounces fat free cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk,
⅓ cup lemon juice, bottled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
Preparation:
In large mixing bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
Pour into crust, cover with lid that came with crust.
Chill 3 hours. Top with pie filling right before serving.
Notes:
Try blueberry pie filling for a nice change.
Refrigerate leftovers.

I give credit to my brother, William, for this recipe because William liked to make this when he was a teenager, and his making this recipe is what brought the recipe to my attention. I know he didn’t actually create this recipe, but I remember going to Mom’s house one day and she gave me a slice to eat and told me William had been trying his hand at cooking. I liked it so much I asked for the recipe. It is really good!
