We wanted to have a place for our recipes and a way for us to write little stories about where we got the recipe or when we serve that particular food and little tidbits of our family traditions. We also love to try a tried and true recipe that our friends like or claim as a signature dish. So this is it, a collection of recipes from family and friends, and it will be a work in progress for quite some time.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my mother, Beryl Lorraine Dill, now Beryl West, for inspiring my sisters and me to be good cooks, and my father, William Arthur Manvell, for encouraging us to “at least try one bite and if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it.” My parents opened up the whole world of good food and appreciating all the work and talent it takes to prepare a delicious meal.
