Snowy Mashed Potatoes

Serves: 10
Ingredients:
12 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup chives, chopped
½ teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon butter
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°
Add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, and garlic to mashed potatoes. Beat until smooth. Stir in chives, spoon into lightly greased 10 cup baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Notes:
Sometimes I reduce it down to a much smaller servings using these measurements:
3 potatoes
2 oz cream cheese
¼ cup sour cream
½ teaspoon salt
dash pepper
dash garlic powder
1 Tablespoon chives
⅛ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon butter
I also sometimes bake it at 325° for 45 minutes if I am cooking it with something else that needs the 325° temperature
