Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 large jar of dried beef (sliced into strips)
4 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons of flour
4 cups of milk
4 twists of pepper grinder
8 pieces of toast
Preparation:
In a cast iron skillet, on medium heat melt butter. Then add flour and whisk around until it absorbs the butter. Slowly add milk a little at a time whisking constantly to smooth out and keep lumps from forming. Once milk as all been added, continue whisking bottom and sides of pan until thickened. Remove from heat and add chipped beef and pepper. Stir. Let sit for about 5 mins or so to allow more thickening to take place. Spoon over toast and serve.
